On May 14, Inside Edition’s Senior Correspondent Les Trent will be travelling from Newark, New Jersey, to his former hometown, Fort Erie, to emcee the Hollywood North
– Party on the Patio VIP fundraiser.

“We are excited to have Les Trent joining us next Saturday,” said Ward 4 Councillor Marina Butler. “It’s always great when one of Fort Erie’s own comes home to support
their community. We have some great local entertainment lined up, so it’s only fitting that our local entertainment is complemented by one of Fort Erie’s most accomplished
journalists.”

Trent is a New York-based senior correspondent who joined Inside Edition in the fall of 2000. He has covered such high-profile stories as the Super Bowl, the 9-11 attacks and
the heartbreaking aftermath of Hurricane Katrina; being one of the first journalists to report from inside St. Rita’s Nursing Home, where 34 elderly residents perished after being left behind during the height of the storm. Trent is also a F.E.S.S. alumni and proud supporter of the performing arts. When Trent caught wind of the upcoming
fundraiser he happily offered his services to host this exciting VIP event.

With less than two weeks away there are only a handful of VIP tickets left. VIP tickets include a reception featuring local food and drink from Pomegranate Restaurant, Brimstone Brewery and Ravine Vineyards. Following the reception, guests will indulge in a BBQ Dinner Experience that is guaranteed to please from Pigout Catering. Lastly, Niagara cake artisan The Happy Baker will provide sweet and savory desserts for all to enjoy.

Throughout the evening, guests will be entertained by talented musicians such as Amber Reigns, Anastasia Boake, Carina Frammartino, Hannah Flake, Hannah
Tummillo, Will Rowe, Spencer MacKenzie, Andrew Aitken, Peacock School of Dance, Pappy Johns Band.

In addition to the VIP reception & dinner, the doors will open to the public at 8 p.m. with purchase of a general admission ticket for $10. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door and will include access to a cash bar. Bands featured in the evening will begin with Westwind taking the stage at 8:15 p.m., followed by The Mandevilles at 9:15 p.m. and the Guilty Pleasures at 11 p.m. The event is anticipated to run until 1 a.m.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to the New Centre for the Arts. For more information or to purchase tickets, please contact hollywoodnorthtickets@outlook.com

  • Connecting Niagara does just that. They put me in touch with key representatives in the area that understood what I was trying to achieve. Together we achieved so much more.
