The Town of Pelham is looking for interpersonal and detail-oriented students with strong customer service skills to join our team this summer!
If you are between 15 and 30 years of age and want to gain exceptional professional experience in your desired field, apply online for any of the following four positions:
Administrative Support Clerk (Recreation, Culture and Wellness Department)
Project Assistant (Planning Department)
Cemeteries Assistant (Public Works Department)
IT Support Technician (Corporate Services)
For all positions the successful candidate should poses the following skills
Strong computer background: proficient in Excel, Word, Publisher and Outlook.
Strong interpersonal skills: capable of working with a diverse staff to achieve desired results professionally and efficiently.
Be detail-oriented, independent, meticulous and thorough, and accustomed to reading legislation.
The successful candidates must:
a) be between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment;
b) have been registered as a full-time student during the preceding academic year;
c) intend to return to school on a full-time basis during the next academic year;
d) be a student in a secondary, post-secondary, vocational or technical program in a program related to the corresponding position.
