Scud Day

What the heck is scud day - I've never heard of this term.. Apparently it stands for Savour the Comic, Unplug the Drama Day.  So I guess, get your first laugh of the day by trying to figure this one out. Really?

Chocolate with Almonds Day

Nothing needs to be said here -- who doesn't love chocolate with almonds?

Collector Cars Appreciation Day

Now this one I can relate to... I love collector cars. Growing up with a dad who at one time raced stock cars, one brother who restored a Chevelle with matching truck and trailer to two it to Cayuga, and another brother who had a 53 Belair. Actually my first car was a '66 Acadian (oh, so long ago)... I could spend ours walking around car shows and museums. Once, I found a collector car museum in Salt Lake City - I think the building it was in should have been condemned. The owner in his moth-holed sweater, gave us a personal tour, having to uncover many of the cars to keep the water from dripping on them and the dirt from the building from penetrating these oh so rare cars. I have never seen such a museum before. The cars inside were in all conditions from prestine and ready for Barrett Jackson to buy me now and save me. I would go back in a minute... You can enjoy Collector Cars Appreciation Day today by stopping in to Cruise Night at Seaway Mall this evening for their weekly cruise night.
