Over the weekend Uber and the Police Service have solved most of their issues

In June 2016, the Regional Municipality of Niagara Police Services Board announced that it has approved a revised Licensing By-law with new regulations of Transportation Network Companies (TNC's).

Niagara Regional Police Licensing Unit staff have been working diligently to finalize all the required details.  I'm pleased to report that over the weekend Uber and the Police Service have solved most of their issues.  The money has now been fully paid, we have received insurance documentation, and the procedure for drivers checks via secure electronic transfer has commenced.  There are still only very minor issues left and I have been assured by the Police Service that these would be solved shortly.   I am very pleased with what has transpired over the last four days.
