Amanda Nelli, Artistic Director
An experienced Elementary Music Specialist, Ms. Nelli brings an outstanding array of experience to her role as Artistic Director. As the Music Specialist at Fern Hill Private School in Oakville, Ms.Nelli directs a variety of youth choirs and has produced and directed a number of staged musicals. She is also responsible for the design and implementation of the Music Program for Elementary aged students.
A graduate of the Master of Arts in Music Education program at the University of Toronto and holding an Honours Bachelor of Music from the University of Ottawa, and a Bachelor of Education from Queen’s University, Ms Nelli has an extensive background in classical music and performance. She has studied choral conducting at the Westminister Conducting Institute in Princeton. Her choirs have won awards at both the provincial and national level. Most recently, her Fern Hill Choir placed first at the National Music Festival and performed at Carnegie Hall.
