Compost is available to all residents of Niagara region at the following locations:
NIAGARA REGION, Sept. 27, 2016 - Residents of Niagara region can pick up one cubic metre of bulk compost for free from October 3 until October 15 at the Bridge Street Landfill and October 4 until October 15 at the Niagara Road 12 Landfill (while quantities last).
Residents are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items or cash in support of Fort Erie COPE (Community Outreach Program - Erie), Grimsby Benevolent Fund and West Lincoln Community Care in exchange for the compost.
Compost is available to all residents of Niagara region at the following location:
Bridge Street Landfill
1300 Bridge Street, Fort Erie
Monday - Friday: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturdays and Statutory Holidays: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Compost is available to residents of Grimsby, Pelham, Lincoln and West Lincoln only, at the Niagara Road 12 Landfill:

Concession Road 7 in West Lincoln
Sunday and Monday: Closed
Tuesday - Friday: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturdays: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
There is a limited amount of compost available this fall at both sites, so the allocated amount of one cubic metre per resident will be enforced.
Residents are required to bring their own shovels and containers and load their own compost, and tarps to ensure that loads leaving the site are securely covered.
