We want to hear from you – provide your opinion on the future of inter-municipal transit
NIAGARA REGION – A series of public information centres will be held in November to get feedback and opinions from residents on the future of inter-municipal transit.
Since late 2015 an Inter-municipal Transit Working Group led by the municipalities of St. Catharines, Niagara Falls and Welland with the support of Niagara Region have been working on improvements to inter-municipal transit service and studying the best options for the future of inter-municipal transit delivery in Niagara.
This study includes an assessment of options for service design, service delivery and governance, fare integration, fare payment technology and trip planning. These meetings will provide residents with an opportunity to learn more about the project, ask questions of the project team and provide feedback on the findings so far.
