hooded childrens bathrobeKreative Kids, Inc. recalls Children's Animal Hooded Bathrobes

This voluntary recall involves eight styles of 100-percent polyester, hooded bathrobes. The robes were sold in sizes 4-6 and 7-9 in the following styles: purple elephant, lion, pink bear, lady bug, blue puppy, duck, monkey, and princess cat. A label sewn in the robes has item number 2013NW081 and "Kreative Kids" printed on it. The robes also have a hood, long-sleeves, a belt, cinched back and two front pockets.

Hazard identified

The children’s robes fail to meet flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries to children.

As of June 09, 2017, Kreative Kids, Inc. has not received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these affected products.


play bed tent recallbblüv recalls the Nidö Mini 2 in 1 Travel Bed and Play Tent

This voluntary recall involves the bblüv, model number B0103 with the UPC 628451387039. The product is an oval shaped gray and green padded mat and a netting to protect the child from bugs.

Hazard identified

Health Canada's evaluation program has determined that these bassinets do not meet the requirements set out by the Cribs, Cradles and Bassinets Regulations in Canada.

As of June 12th 2017, bblüv has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these bassinets in Canada.

Bulletproof 360, Inc. ("Bulletproof") of Bellevue, Washington is recalling Collagen Protein Bars and Bites from the marketplace due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. Consumers should not consume the recalled products described below.

The products listed here have been sold nationally and through Internet sales.

The food recall warning issued on June 8, 2017 has been updated to include additional distribution information as well as corrected information. This additional information was identified during the Canadian Food Inspection Agency's (CFIA) food safety investigation. The correction is marked by an asterisk (*) below.

Ultima Foods is recalling iögo yogurt products from the marketplace due to the potential presence of pieces of plastic. Consumers should not consume the recalled products described below.

Fresh Selections Inc. is recalling Fresh Selections brand Meatballs & Spaghetti from the marketplace because it may contain milk which is not declared on the label. People with an allergy to milk should not consume the recalled product described here


faux wood blindsSun Shade Blinds Manufacturing Ltd. recalls 2" Faux wood Horizontal Blinds

This recall involves horizontal blinds custom manufactured by Sun Shade Blinds Manufacturing Ltd. with a slat size of 5.0 centimetres (two inches). The products were custom made in different sizes and colours and are made of faux wood.

Hazard identified

Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has determined that the recalled blinds pose an increased risk of strangulation by not having a cord cleat supplied with the product. Cord cleats are devices used to hold operating cords out of reach of young children to reduce the risk of strangulation and are a requirement of the Corded Window Covering Products Regulations.The blinds also do not have the required hang tag warnings and company information or year of manufacture listed on the product.

As of June 2, 2017, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.


gt mountain bicycle aggressor yellowCycling Sports Group Recalls 2017 model year GT Karakoram Sport, Comp and Aggressor Comp, Expert and Sport

This recall involves 2017 GT mountain bicycle models: Karakoram Sport, Karakoram Comp, Aggressor Sport, Aggressor Comp, and Aggressor Expert. The bikes were sold in a variety of colors including black, blue, gunmetal grey, and neon yellow.

Hazard identified

The bicycle's handlebars can develop fatigue cracks before reaching the required number of cycles, posing a fall hazard.

As of June 8, Cycling Sports Group has not received any reports of incidents or injuries in Canada or the United States.


Diono dreamline travel bassinetDiono Canada recalls Diono Dreamliner Travel Bassinet

This recall involves the Diono Dreamliner Travel Bassinet.  The lightweight, portable bassinet came in grey (model 71001) or teal (model 71002), and can be folded to carry in a shoulder bag.  The bassinet has a steel frame, a mattress, and fabric sides with large mesh panels for ventilation, as well as an adjustable hood with integrated insect net.

Hazard identified

Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has determined that these bassinets do not meet the Cribs, Cradles and Bassinets Regulations in Canada.


Harley-Davidson recalls bikes, says oil line can detach and cause crash

DETROIT — Harley-Davidson is recalling about 57,000 motorcycles worldwide because an oil line can come loose, spewing oil into the path of the rear tire.

The recall covers certain 2017 Electra Glide Ultra Classic, Police Electra Glide, Police Road King, Road King, Road King Special, Street Glide, Street Glide Special, Road Glide and Road Glide Special motorcycles built from July 2, 2016 through May 9, 2017. Read article via TorontoSUN here:

This recall involves various brands of car seats, booster seats and travel systems that are not certified for sale and use in Canada.  Affected products do not contain the Canadian National Safety Mark ("NSM").  This recall does not include any car seats, booster seats, or travel systems that contain the NSM.

The affected car seats, booster seats and travel systems are not certified for sale and use in Canada and may not meet Canadian requirements.

As of May 19, 2017 the company has not received any reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

Best & Fresh Co. Ltd. is recalling Stir-Fry Chow Mein Noodle from the marketplace because it may contain egg which is not declared on the label. People with an allergy to egg should not consume the recalled product described here:


personal floatation device recallbeads on pfdStohlquist Infant and Child Personal Flotation Devices (PFD)

This recall involves Stohlquist child and infant PFDs with the lot numbers: 5001171, 5002171, and 5003171. The PFDs come in red or black with 6 shiny beads on the handle. The lot number can be found printed on the inside of the PFD.

Beads attached to the handle of the PFD can break and pose as a choking hazard to young children.

As of May 16, 2017 the company has received one report of an incident in Canada, and no reports of injuries.


honest wipesHonest Wipes

This recall by The Honest Company involves certain lots of wipes.

The wipes were sold in Honest Diaper Cakes, Baby Basics Gift Set and Baby Arrival Gift Set,

The product is being recalled due to the possible presence of mould. The affected product is not likely to cause an adverse health consequence in healthy individuals, however may pose a risk to people with weakened immune systems.  Affected products will appear spotted.

As of May 24, 2017, the Honest Company has received no report of incidents or injuries in Canada.
