Pools closed for Repairs at St. Catharines Kiwanis Aquatics Centre

Both pools inside the St. Catharines Kiwanis Aquatics Centre will remain closed until the lighting fixture and ceiling are repaired.

Both pools at the St. Catharines Kiwanis Aquatics Centre are closed until further notice while crews make repairs to the ceiling and lighting fixtures in the pool area.

Panelling from the ceiling and light fixtures fell onto the deck on July 4 around 7 a.m. There were no injuries.

Both pools inside the St. Catharines Kiwanis Aquatics Centre will remain closed until the lighting fixture and ceiling are repaired.

City staff is proactively contacting individuals booked into registered programming to inform them of the closure; however, anyone with questions about the pools can call 905.688.5600.

The Dr. Huq Family Library Branch and community rooms inside the St. Catharines Kiwanis Aquatics Centre will remain open while repairs take place.

Residents are encouraged to use the City's outdoor pools and splash pads while repairs are made to the pools at the St. Catharines Kiwanis Aquatics Centre. Admission is free for both splash pads, as well as the Lincoln Park small pool and the Port Dalhousie small pool.
