Fall Leaf Collection Delays in Niagara

The Niagara Story Place sponsored by Calhoun

Leaf and Yard Waste Collection Delays across Niagara Nov. 16 - 24

Leaf and yard waste collection delays are continuing across the region due to a lack of Contractor resources to complete the work and volume of materials.  Residents are advised to leave their leaf and yard waste material at the curb if it was not collected on their regular collection day, or remove it and place it out next week on their regular collection day.

Collection delays are expected to continue into next week. Residents should continue to place their leaf and yard waste material at the curb by 7 a.m. on their regular scheduled collection day and ensure it is visible and accessible to collection staff.

The Region apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates your patience.  For more information, residents may call the Region’s Waste Management Services Info-line at 905-356.4141 or 1-800-594-5542, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
