FOUND: 2 boys missing in St. Catharines

Missing Persons - Police Request Publics Assistance in find 2 boys

UPDATE: THE BOYS ARE NOW HOME SAFE. 


On Sunday April 29, 2018 at 11:45pm, the Niagara Regional Police Service responded to the area of 196 Cushman Road, St. Catharines in relation to a report of a missing 9 year old boy.  Upon investigation it was learned that this male was in the company of a 13 year old boy who was also being reported as missing.
 
Decklin Caron, born April 15, 2009 is described as a white male approximately 5' with a petite build.  He has blonde hair to his ears and blue eyes.  He was last known to be wearing a yellow t-shirt with a blue sweatshirt and matching blue pants bearing a white strip down the sides.  He was wearing black running shoes.
 
Taeshaun Haynes, born December 22, 2004 is described as a non-white male 5'4" - 5'6" 110lbs with shaggy brown hair and brown eyes.  He was last known to be wearing a red Tommy Hilfiger hooded sweat shirt, black pants and red and black Adidas running shoes.  He may be wearing a black baseball hat and will be carrying a black and white back pack.
 
The boys were last seen around dusk in the area of 725 Welland Ave, St. Catharines.  At that time they were believed to be heading toward the Walmart located at 525 Welland Ave.
 
The Niagara Regional Police are requesting the publics assistance in locating these two boys.  If you should have any information pertaining to their whereabouts please contact Niagara Regional Police dispatch at 905-688-4111.
