5 Chefs will again compete for the best slider recipe

Chefs competing are Churchill Meats, Iggy’s, PenLakes, Righteous Monger (Kame & Kettle chef) and Root & Bone (new restaurant opening)


2018 SLIDERFEST tickets are on sale now.  The date is August 25th 4-10 pm, with sliders served between 5-8. 

Live music by The Rhythm Hounds.  Raffle table, silent auction, 50/50 and grand prize raffle for a Traeger Pro Series 20 wood pellet grill.  There will be games and activities for those who want to “play”.  Early bird tickets up until July 15 are $30 which includes each of five sliders, corn, fries and a non-alcoholic beverage.  Cash bar.  Kids under 12 entry is free. 

This year’s chef line up is Churchill Meats, Iggy’s, PenLakes, Righteous Monger (Kame & Kettle chef) and Root & Bone (Fonthill’s newest restaurant opening in August in old Zest location). 

Last year’s event sold out.  Come on out with family and friends.  Let me know how many tickets you would like and I will figure how to get them to you. 

Punch card tickets include entry, one of each of five sliders, corn, fries and a non-alcoholic beverage.  Back by popular demand live blues music by The Rhythm Hounds.  Grand prize raffle for a Traeger Pro Series 20 Wood Pellet BBQ (donated by Enviro-Niagara), raffle table, 50/50 and silent auction.  Cash bar. 

Entrance is free for kids under 12.  There will be activities and games.  

All proceeds go towards the Fonthill Lions Community Service.
