Fraud - Do You Know This Guy - NRP asking for identity

The male claims to be a currency collector looking for specific serial numbers and asks the well-intentioned clerk to look at the bills within the cash register.

Over the past two weeks, the Niagara Regional Police Service has received an influx of incidents throughout the Niagara Region involving thefts from local businesses. The male claims to be a currency collector looking for specific serial numbers and asks the well-intentioned clerk to look at the bills within the cash register. A distraction is created, the suspect conceals several bills and leaves undetected.
