Layla and her mother Allana were last seen Thursday December 1, 2016 at approximately 6pm at 6 King Street in Welland. Their current whereabouts are unknown.
“The Youngs Sportsplex is a recreational asset for our City and it’s a premier indoor sports facility in Niagara,” said Welland Mayor Frank Campion. “It is currently under capacity and under-utilized so we’re excited about having Spectra on board to help us maximize programming and maximize revenue.”
The City appreciates the expense involved with holiday planning; therefore, strives to build special events that are either affordable or free.
“We’re evolving into a “smart city” and using advances in digital technology to become better connected with and responsive to residents,” said Mayor Frank Campion.
Welland was one of 150 communities selected to be the home of a 1000 red and white tulip garden after the committee's submission was accepted by the Canadian Garden Council and Veseys Bulbs for the garden.
Welland City Council is paying it forward with Random Act of Kindness Day (RAKD) this Friday, November 4, 2016.
