The summer months are slow in donations for food banks and client visits increase. Families with children who are now home for the summer need more food on the table to remain healthy and active.Through the Cram-A-Cruiser Challenge, 3066 pounds of food was collected on June 8, 2016 by the Niagara Regional Police Service from 6 elementary and 1 high school throughout the Region. The food was then taken to various local food banks.
