Police Trying to Identify Port Colborne E-bike Rider

A 13 year old female was walking in the area of Highland Avenue on her way to school when a male on an e-bike or scooter drove past and yelled to her.


Uniform officers from Port Colborne are attempting to identify a male involved in a suspicious persons complaint in the area of Highland Avenue, west of Steele Street, on the morning of September 30, 2016.


On this date, at approximately 8:50 AM, a 13 year old female was walking in the area of Highland Avenue on her way to school when a male on an e-bike or scooter drove past and yelled to her. The female was frightened by this action and fled the area.


Police stress that a criminal offence is not believed to have occured in this incident but wish to speak with the male in order to ascertain his intentions. The male is described as 60-65 years of age, and was possibly wearing orange coloured clothing.
