Continuous Performance 10am-3pm by Niagara's Premiere 100-voice symphonic ensemble

Chorus Niagara holds the 11th annual Singathon Fundraiser again this year at 'The Most Famous Food Court in the World'. Singathon is a continuous 5 hour marathon of choral performance that takes place at the Seaway Mall in Welland where our YouTube viral fame began. The public is invited to attend this free concert with celebrity conductors. Each year several community leaders take up the baton to conduct the 100 voices of Chorus Niagara with some tips from Artistic Director Robert Cooper. Be dazzled as our guest conductors are taught the basic methods of conducting and then let loose to conduct the chorus on their own. The choir will sing selections from their repertoire including the famed Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah.

The sweet sounds of the Chorus Niagara Children's Choir will entertain from 12:00-12:30. Our young singers ages 7-15 are always a crowd pleaser!

The Singathon is a major fund raiser for Chorus Niagara, each year netting in excess of $50,000 through pledges made to choir members. This generous community support assists the Chorus in presenting programs of inspiring music in their new home at the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre in St.Catharines.

Donations can be made in person at the singathon, to any choir member or easily and securely through Canada Helps.
