Compost giveaway to support local charities during Waste Reduction Week October 16 – 21, 2017
October 16 to October 21 (while quantities last), residents of Niagara region can collect up to 3 bags of compost per household during regular business hours. Each bag of compost is 20 litres in size.
In exchange for the compost, residents are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items or cash in support of Fort Erie COPE (Community Outreach Program – Erie), Grimsby Benevolent Fund, Hope Centre, and Project Share.
Compost is available to residents of Niagara region at the following locations:
Bridge Street Landfill
1300 Bridge Street, Fort Erie
Monday - Friday: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturdays: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Sunday: Closed
*Niagara Road 12 Landfill
Concession Road 7, West Lincoln
