In recognition of Waste Reduction Week, October 16-22, Niagara Region will be offering free public tours, hosting an information booth and holding a contest to educate residents about the importance of waste reduction.
From May 1 to July 30, 2017, residents can play the Recycle and Win online game at www.recycleandwin.ca to place common household waste and recyclables in the correct disposal container. Residents who complete the quiz can then enter a draw to win one of five $100 VISA gift cards.
