500 White Hakuun and 500 Red Impression tulip bulbs will be planted at the Welland Farmers Market in a “150th Celebration Garden Planting Ceremony” on Saturday, November 5th, 2016 at 10:00 am.
“For us to continue to move the City forward, it’s important for Council, staff, and the community to work together and be ambassadors for Welland,” said Campion.
The Mayor’s Charity Event is adding a few spooky details this year. This all-inclusive event is being hosted on October 29th at the Welland Museum.
“The theme of Fire Prevention Week this year is ‘Don’t Wait, Check the Date’ of your smoke alarms,” says Brian Kennedy, Fire Chief. “Smoke alarms don’t last forever.
“The Economic Shift” is a description of Welland’s economic history and the emergence of arts and culture left in the wake of Canada’s declining industrial revolution.
“Welland…Pursuing Our Vision” is being hosted at Casa Dante from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., which is located at 34 Lincoln Street, Welland.
The first is a public information night on October 5th from 6:30 - 8:30 at the Welland Museum Community Room.
Auxiliary members provide a very valuable volunteer service to the Niagara Regional Police Service and their Community.
“Welland is a City that cherishes festivals and events. They bring together networks of communities that strengthen social bonds and build shared memories,” said Campion.
