This sounds like a perfect excuse for a broken leg given my age, but I remember when... skateboarding through the neighbourhoods was fun, a means of transportation and just plain ol' fun! For me, those days are long gone! That being said, I still have my skateboard. Do you? Today skateboarding has changed dramatically with the new skateboard parks popping up in local cities, the evolution of the skateboard being so much better and the kids today developing creative ways to use them. Go down to your local skateboard park - these kids truly are taking skateboarding to the next level.Selfie Day

World Music Day
Music plays a big role in the day to day lives of many of us. How many of us took lessons as a child on one instrument or another? For me, it was the clarinet, while dabbling with the acordian. Even if you don't play, it doesn't stop you from enjoying the bands, the orchestras, the choirs, the soloists, the opera and so much more. Music is an integral part of the arts and culture scene keeping us entertained, enjoying the things we do on a day to day basis and in some cases giving us a reason to party. Have you ever noticed how hearing one song can trigger a wealth of memories from years past? Powerful!
