Spring is in the Air! Visual Artists of Welland present their first annual Art Show & Sale April 5th- 7th.
Home shows, markets, and art shows are the thing to do in the spring. We all crawl out of our homes eager for fresh air, mingling with friends and visiting our favourite shows and markets. This year, the Visual Artists of Welland present their first annual Spring Fling Art Show and Sale starting April 5th through the 7th at Canada's Best Value Inn Banquet Hall,1030 Niagara Street in Welland.
The Opening Reception is Friday, April 5: from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at 7 p.m., the following are expected to speak: Vance Badawey, MP, Jeff Burch, MPP, and Leanna Villella, Welland Regional Counselor, and Keith Cumming, Primeway Group/Platinum Sponsor. On Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7, the hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m for you to enjoy the works of approximately 25 local artists. The art displayed will be in a variety of mediums. Artwork will be offered for sale, or you can just drop in to enjoy the work of the talented local artists.
Deedee Alexandre and Pam Duncan are the Co-Presidents and founders of the Visual Artists of Welland. It is a non-profit organization that was started in August 2018. There are close to 40 paid members and has a very enthusiastic and energetic Executive Board. Anyone can join the Visual Artists of Welland--art enthusiasts, emerging artists, and established artists.
