NIA bringing together manufacturers and school boards to facilitate high school student co-op placements.


NIAGARA INDUSTRIAL ASSOCIATION SYMPOSIUM
DATE: THURSDAY MAY 12, 2016
TIME: 7:30 AM-12:00 PM

The Niagara Industrial Association Education and Training Committee is hosting a symposium on May 12 at Club Roma to bring together manufacturers and the District School Board of Niagara and the Niagara Catholic District School Board to discuss issues around facilitating High School Co-op Student placements for September 2016.

Co-op consultants from Brock University and Niagara College will also be in attendance.

The event will be from 7:30 a.m. to 12 noon with a buffet breakfast supplied.

As a manufacturer who employs co-op students we would also welcome the students to attend to be able to answer questions and gain knowledge.

If you cannot attend, please have someone from your HR attend who would be working to facilitate students in your company.
